Salmon Elementary School

For the hallway at Salmon Elementary we cut a custom stencil, etched the design into the concrete, then stained and polished it. The logo is part of the floor, so it won't wear off or peel.

Tractor Supply

A full sales floor, ground and polished to a high gloss for a new Tractor Supply store in Driggs. Polished concrete stands up to carts, pallet jacks, and heavy foot traffic, and it's easy for the store to keep clean.

Seamless shower floors, walls, and cove bases for the Idaho Department of Correction. A seamless coating has no grout lines to crack or hold grime, so wet areas stay cleaner and are easier to maintain.

Garage floors

These two garages are in Idaho Falls. Our flake epoxy garage floors hide dirt, stand up to hot tires, oil, and road salt, and wipe clean. We coat the steps and run the floor up the walls as a cove base, so the whole garage looks finished.

How polishing works

Coarse to fine, one pass at a time

Polishing uses diamond tooling in steps. Each finer grit removes the scratches of the last, until the floor reflects light.

  1. 30–40Grind flat and expose the surface
  2. 80–150Remove grinding scratches
  3. 200–400Harden and densify
  4. 800–1500Bring up the shine
  5. 3000High-gloss finish

United Concrete Polishing is part of Gaches Family Flooring. For 20 years we've done the work ourselves, showed up when we said we would, and stood behind every floor.

We hold an Idaho public works license, so we can take on state and other public jobs in Idaho, from schools to state facilities.
